Sweetheart Motion Picture Productions is a digital video production company located in Baltimore, MD. For corporate, commercial, web and documentary production, we’re your “one stop shop.”

Sweetheart Motion Picture Productions provides any level of service you need. Our forte is developing our clients' ideas into effective, creative and budget-wise productions. We’re also happy to rent equipment packages, for production or post-production.
Our production package includes a lightweight but extremely durable and functional Panasonic DVC Pro camcorder. This state-of-the-art digital camcorder provides outstanding picture quality along with robust digital recording technology. It’s identical to the cameras used by hundreds of TV stations across the country.
We also have wireless and shotgun mics, a compact and flexible Arriflex light kit, and a portable grip kit.
Our post-production services start with a nonlinear editing system based on Apple’s outstanding Final Cut Pro (FCP) software. We’ve supplemented FCP with powerful digital hardware, making a professional editing and finishing environment. Hardware supplements include an AJA Kona video input/output and processing card including a Serial Digital Interface (SDI) I/O, which allow “lossless” digital throughput; two high resolution 20 inch LCD monitors; a Mackie fourteen-channel audio board; a 20 inch Sony professional presentation monitor; and DVC Pro and Beta SP VTRs.
We’ve added software that allows us to create almost any title, graphic or animation you can imagine: Adobe Photoshop, AfterEffects, Illustrator, as well as Apple's Motion and Live Type.

A bit about the SMPP team...
KEITH SALKOWSKI, writer, director and producer, has more than 18 years in the film and video production business. With advanced training from the world-renowned American Film Institute Conservatory, he combines a tireless work ethic with outstanding creative ability. His work has been cited by the International Television Association, The Communicator Awards, the American Film Institute, the Society for Technical Communications and the Telly Awards. An avid outdoorsman and mountaineer, he is in pursuit of “The Seven Summits,” along with his teenage son.
MARK HUBATSEK, videographer and cinematographer, has been “painting with light” for over fifteen years. He’s traveled the world shooting everything from high-end national TV commercials, to documentaries for the Discovery Channel, to digital features, and every type of corporate production. When he’s not working he can often be found chasing his nine-year-old daughter around his historic brownstone house.
MICHAEL FEVANG is an editor and graphic artist who’s been turning bits and bytes into captivating visual images for a quarter-century. He’s highly experienced with several nonlinear systems, especially ours, and he’s an ace with After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Michael is the epitome of the “creative editor”--no mere button-pusher, he brings an enthusiastic creative energy to every project. He won't admit it, but Michael's a wannabe baseball coach.
We work with many other associates--gaffers, grips, sound recordists, composers, animators, stylists and make-up artists--all of whom are enthusiastic, accomplished and a pleasure to work with.
